In 1989, I was hired by Smit Ghormley Sanft of Phoenix to help develop the graphics standards manual for the new City of Phoenix logo. Collaborating closely with Al Sanft, I contributed to a comprehensive 90-page manual detailing every aspect of its application. During this process, we also designed the city flag and seal.
